​'Making Lines' Literacy and Art Project

 

Our project is a partnership of Literacy and Art and endeavors to work with primary schools all over London. It is aimed at raising children's attainment, confidence and enthusiasm towards writing.

Each project consists of five to six workshops which will take part in the gallery and at school.

 

These will provide opportunities for children to explore contemporary art and develop Literacy skills through hands on activities including drama, storytelling, illustration and mural making. The project will culminate in a collaborative response to an exhibition, which can be celebrated and presented at school.
