Volunteer with Us
Come and join our vibrant Education Team at October Gallery and help deliver art workshops in a contemporary central London art gallery. Gain experience in working with people of all abilities in Early Years, Family Learning, Schools and Young People.
October Gallery Education needs enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers with a flexible schedule to assist our busy education programme. Most of our opportunities are assisting our school workshops, which are usually on weekday mornings and take place in the gallery with Early Years, Primary and Secondary Schools and inclusive of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Pupil Referral Units (PRU).

Accessibility and Facilities

Entrance
There are two steps (15cm high each) leading up to the main entrance – staff will be available to assist with a ramp. The main entrance door is 65cm wide.
Gallery space
The door into the Gallery space is 76cm wide. The Gallery space and Refectory are step-free.
Courtyard
To access the Courtyard there is a small ledge (10cm).
Toilet
There is an accessible toilet in the Courtyard. The door to the toilet is 80cm wide, the bathroom width is 85cm, and length before the toilet is 115cm.
Other spaces at the October Gallery
There is no lift access to rooms above the ground floor. This includes the Theatre, Clubroom and lodging.

Sadly, this means that we can not offer refunds because the fee is going towards keeping our programme exciting and accessible for ALL art lovers and allows us to keep working as a charity.
