Material Making CPD: Material Explorations of Creative Process

How do the materials we choose shape what we make - and what we mean? Explore movement, colour, sound, and touch at October Gallery.

Join us for a hands-on Creative Professional Development workshop exploring the expressive potential of materials through movement, texture, and colour. Inspired by Aubrey Williams’ powerful approach to painting, this session invites you to explore how materials shape meaning, identity and creative process.

Led by Esther Adesigbin at October Gallery, this session includes making, reflection, and practical strategies for material-led practice. Whether you're an educator, artist, youth worker or community practitioner, this session offers space to experiment, reflect, and reconnect with creative process.

Book your space here!

Here, at the October Gallery we try to run all our projects and events with little, or no financial cost for our community.

Sadly, this means that we can not offer refunds because the fee is going towards keeping our programme exciting and accessible for ALL art lovers and allows us to keep working as a charity.
