Art Club is a monthly workshop which meets on Saturday mornings in the gallery to explore the current exhibition and a varied range of new and exciting art techniques. Each session is has a specialist theme and led by an artist practicing this art form.

 

So far we have explored portraiture and printmaking and abstract sculpture using textiles and plaster.

ART CLUB: Saturday 22nd August 10am-12pm

In our first 'Print Club'after lockdown, join artist Georgie Fay to explore her own participatory practice focusing on themes of memory and flight in contrast to the current exhibition 'Present Moment' at October Gallery.

Georgie will use mindfulness activities as starting points to explore the exhibition and her own practice which will be followed by practical tips, ideas and unique materials for participants to work with in order to create their own mindful responses to these themes.
