CulturED: Teachers' Networking Event

September 2016

This year a group of local Arts and Cultural Organisations have formed a group to share best practice in education and this year we decided to run a big event for teachers to show them how important the Arts is and how we can support and collaborate with schools throughout London in so many various ways.

This free twilight inspiration event, connected teachers and schools with leading cultural organisations in Camden and Islington. Teachers joined in the conversation with education specialists from Almeida Theatre, British Museum, Camden Spark, Camden Arts Centre, Creative Islington, English Folk Dance and Song Society, House of Illustration, Islington Borough Council, October Gallery, Parasol Unit, Poetry Society, Postal Museum, Roundhouse and The Place, and heard about all the exciting opportunities available for them and their students.

Here, at the October Gallery we try to run all our projects and events with little, or no financial cost for our community.

Sadly, this means that we can not offer refunds because the fee is going towards keeping our programme exciting and accessible for ALL art lovers and allows us to keep working as a charity.
