Our final exhibition of the academic year will by well-renowned Algerian artist Rachid Koraichi who works in many mediums and has had his work displayed all around the world, including MOMA, Venice Biennale and the British Museum. His work is influenced by an abiding fascination with signs of all kinds, both real and imaginary. This Summer we are lucky enough to have a new series of paintings by the Congolese young artist Eddy Kamuanga Ilunga. We will explore the works in the gallery together and delve a little deeper into the meanings behind these extraordinary works and then we will be influenced by these works to create portraits ourselves along with learning new techniques and skills.
