Interwoven Histories: Africa Group Show

This November we will be working with our artist facilitator Lucy Warren to reflect upon African art and culture. We will explore the works of African artists, Romuald Hazoume, Nnenna Okore, Naomi Wanjiku Gakunga and Adejoke Tugbiyele.

We will examine the materials they use to make their sculptures and reflect upon traditional African crafts to then make our own sculptures and maybe a large collaborative art piece.
